STRESS RELIEF YOGA 1:1

After years studying and working in the chiropractic and mental health fields - and with the various styles of yoga - I've learned how to heal my nervous system and transformed my wellbeing (more on About page) I now share all my experience and tools that worked for me, to help others do the same!

I hold a gentle, sacred and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore various breathwork, meditation and yoga (asana) techniques to help relieve stress from the inside out. The therapeutic benefits help client's support their (mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health, relationships to others and self, and overall peace).

While rooted in ancient tradition, I guide a modern style of yoga, Nervous System Titration sequences. These flows incorporate somatic movements (meaning "of the body"), breathwork (pranayama) and various meditation techniques.
​


This allows students to connect deeper within themselves, their inner healer, and sense their way through poses, rather than focusing on how flexible they may be or how they look. ​
These practices are based on the Polyvagal theory, which I explain more in depth during consultation calls. But an overall view, this theory suggests we have 3 branches to the nervous system, rather than just two, typically know as "fight or flight vs. relaxed". Or often seen as, "bad vs good". But in brief, I like to imagine the flow as a wave, going up and down between the Sympathetic (fight or flight, or high) and Parasympathetic (underactive, or low) branches and with practice, the height of the wave will get smaller, balancing the nervous system in the middle, aka Ventral Vagal State. ​​Where we can hold a state of balance and build resilience to stress.

Each flow is designed to stimulate the vagus nerve, open the hips, adrenals, chest, shoulders and facial tension. The 60 minute is the more accessible version, but with the 75 minute flow, allows more time for questions or discuss emotions, intentions, or memories that may come up. I can offer aftercare options and advice from my personal experience as well.​

Typically clients book 1 or 2x weekly.
60 minute sessions - $65
75 minute sessions - $80 (includes more time to discuss intention and clientexperience, emotions, memories, etc)
